About this position: 

We are seeking someone with previous metals or mechanical experience with a good hands on working background and experience with drills, grinders, dremels and bead blasting.

The client you will be working for is offers a range of polymer and metal additive manufacturing technologies across industries including Automotive, Space, Defence, Medical and Industrial.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the manual processing, handwork and skilled finishing of additively manufactured metal components for regulated industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Space and Motorsport applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performance of relevant post processing activities including but not limited to de supporting, blasting, surface preparation, handwork & assembly
• Fettling, Grinding, Deburring and Polishing of metal 3D printed components
• Removal of support structures from parts using hand and air tools
• Deburring and sanding of components using power tools and polishing by hand
• Working with various materials like Aluminium, Nickel and Titanium grades
• Support setting up metal printing machine (on-job training provided)
• Sanding and polishing of components to achieve required finish
• Removing sharp edges using files, angle grinders and orbital sanders

Experience Required:

• Previous Metal Finishing experience
• Metal experience
• Good hand sills
• Experience within a quality-controlled environment such as Automotive, Aerospace etc
