About this position:

Are you an experienced and passionate Installation, Service, or Maintenance engineer? This company supplies, installs and maintains high security gates and associated security systems for commercial customers. They are now looking to expand their team further by bringing a new workshop engineer on board. This is an exciting opportunity to work at a company that invests in R&D and its staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assembly of gates, barriers and control panels
• Testing of systems
• Offer competent technical assistance when required
• Ensure that projects are completed within the allocated time limits
• When required, carry out fault diagnosis and accurately identify components which are faulty.
• Display a proactive, can do-attitude within the organisation, with a culture of right first time and own ship of problems

Experience Required:

• You must have an electrical or mechanical background
• Experience within a workshop role
• Strong technical background
• Flexible approach to work
