The client I am working with were built to further the legacies of the most beautiful cars in the world and upcycle specialist industrial fleet vehicles. They restore, enhance and create with knowledge that these vehicles have a cultural value far beyond their function. And they know that each vehicle represents an uncompromised expression of the original and that electrification answers the questions to usability, reliability and sustainability which empowers their customers to enjoy the vehicles on a daily basis.

I am looking for an engineer who will work with the team to develop and perform the tests that will ensure our vehicles will be able to withstand the demanding environment of commercial fleets. The test engineers that work for the client have a wide skill set that helps them understand what to test, why it needs to be tested, and how to process, translate and relay critical data back to the team to create effective solutions and deliver a polished final product.
 
Job Responsibilities:

• Work with development lead to create comprehensive plans that validate legislative, design, production, and customer requirements
• Outline data acquisition requirements and oversee installation and operation to ensure high fidelity measurements
• Perform vehicle tests within the building, locally, or remotely at testing facilities
• Interface closely with software team to develop desirable vehicle calibration
• Help troubleshoot vehicle at various locations
• Assist development and design leads performing DFMEA updates and validation

Experience Required:

• Broad understanding of technical systems (HGV is plus)
• Demonstrated experience in high pressure test and development environments
• Demonstrated ability to react to unexpected situations in calm manner and follow processes
• Discipline with logging, data management, and organization
• Quick, lateral thinking to find simple and robust solutions
• Strong drive for data-driven decision making
