I am looking for a Technician who will play a vital role in the development of the clients trucks by assisting with the specification, build and testing of low voltage systems across the vehicle. You will use your expertise to ensure the core low voltage architecture is built to be safe, robust, and to OEM quality.
 
Job Responsibilities:

• Repairing and modifying LV wiring including CAN/LIN
• Preparing LV/HV test beds and support LV/HV testing
• Support off-site testing at Mira and Millbrook during vehicle shakedowns
• Support changes to wiring and harness changes
• Support vehicle build electrical mockups
• Support troubleshooting on all levels
• Support LV architecture design and validation

Experience Required:

• Experienced in cutting, crimping and testing LV and HV wiring
• Experienced and comfortable using proving units, voltage indicators, low ohm meters and insulation testers
• Comfortable using MS Excel and Visio
• Demonstrated experience in high pressure test and development environments
• Demonstrated ability to react to unexpected situations in calm manner and follow processes
• Quick, lateral thinking to find simple and robust solutions
• Strong drive for data-driven decision making
