This company is the world’s leading product development specialist in 3D printing with over 60 years’ experience working with designers and engineers from a whole host of industries to develop their products. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven individual to join our PU Department.
The role requires you to create PU Tooling to make silicon moulds, also to work in the casting and finishing department when required.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Good hand-to-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as Verniers.
• Excellent communication skills, good team worker, flexible and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability
• Familiarity with manual lathes/mills and drills
• Familiarity with woodworking
• Familiarity with Solid works/mini magics.
• Preferred Qualities/Experience:
• Engineering or mechanical apprenticeship.
• Mould design/making.
• Problem solving attitude.
• Computer literacy
• Craft or artistic background

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.
The standard hours of work are 7 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.
This equates to a 37½-hour week.
