A company that design and manufacture Special Purpose Machinery for the food industry are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their team. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the duties of the Engineering department, including design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, and processing work. You will also collaborate with purchasing and production teams on design projects.

The role:

• Designing and producing manufacture drawings of bespoke equipment 
• Processing of drawings, supplied from customers to manufacture equipment 
• Ordering of materials for job packs
• Sourcing brought in items that are required for jobs

Requirements:

• In depth knowledge of Inventor 3D CAD
• Experience designing Special Purpose Machinery for the food industry or similar industry
• Extensive knowledge of metal fabrication process
